Dr. T Bangar Raju is currently working as Professor and Cluster Head for Energy and Transportation at School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. He has a rich experience in academia and Industry in the areas of Energy, and transportation. He has worked with corporates like Adani and JSW before joining academia. He has more than 30 publications indexed in Scopus and ABDC. He is a member of Indian Econometric society, International Association for Maritime Economists, Production and Operations management society.

Gokul is a final year B-tech Naval architect student at Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering. He has published a conference paper for the 34 th National Convention of Marine Engineers (NCMRE) conducted by the Institution of Engineers ( India) at Vizag titled- “Applications of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in Maritime Industry”. He is the placement coordinator of Department of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Engineering, SNGCE. He is a member of National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA). He is currently working on his final year project which is a 15 PAX passenger Hovercraft (pleasurecraft). While working on academic and extra curricular projects, he has developed proven leadership, technical and problem solving skills. He is also excited to work in maritime industry and believe in himself to achieve more in the upcoming years.

Varsha is currently pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Engineering at Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering, Ernakulam. She has published a conference paper for the 34th National Convention of Marine Engineers (NCMRE), conducted by the Institution of Engineers ( India) titled - “ Application of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in Maritime Industry”. She is a student member of National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) , and is also a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects ( RINA). She is the Chief Social Officer at Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) supported by Kerala Startup Mission. She has participated in many workshops and webinars organized within the maritime field. Her final year project is a SWATH Research Vessel performing oceanographic research of coral reefs at Great Barriet Reef, Australia. She is a self motivated, enthusiastic leader who truly believes in her strength and determined to improve her weaknesses.

Gilberto joined Silverstream in 2021 as Technical Sales Manager to help drive the company’s growing portfolio together with the Programme Directors. He started his career with V.Group, a leading ship management and marine services provider. Over the course of four years with the company, Gilberto worked in Athens, Glasgow and Monaco. He spent time onboard vessels as a Project Engineer overseeing ship repair and maintenance projects, then progressed to a role leading operational excellence and business development initiatives.

Gilberto holds a master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Southampton, with a semester abroad at Webb Institute in New York. Gilberto has received naval architecture design awards from RINA, BMT and Wartsila.

Mike Watt is the Director of Bureau Veritas Marine and Offshore, Future Shipping Team (South Asia & Pacific) and the Innovation Centre of Alternatives & Renewable Energy (iCARE), formulating partnerships and providing clients with a bespoke end to end service supporting them on their decarbonization journey focusing on innovative technologies, digitalization and alternate energy.

His background is as a Marine Engineer with Twenty-Five years of experience in the Marine Industry in various roles with Chemical and Oil Majors, Ship Management/Ownership and Classification Society. These positions throughout his career have included seagoing roles, new build construction, technical superintendency and business and project development.

He holds a Master of Science in Engineering for Marine Professionals from the University of Plymouth and is a Chartered Engineer with the British Engineering Council.

Chirag joined ISWAN in 2015 after the Maritime Humanitarian Response Programme (MPHRP) moved its services into ISWAN. He is responsible for the operation and development of ISWAN’s work programme across the globe, and works closely with regional stakeholders to provide support mechanisms for seafarers and their families in need. He began his shipping career in India in 2004 after graduating as a Marine Engineer and has worked on various merchant vessels in different capacities, currently holding a Chief Engineer's License. Chirag was held hostage by Somali pirates on a hijacked vessel in 2010 and has devoted his life to helping seafarers and their families affected by piracy and many other challenges. His passion to serve seafarers has gained widespread recognition, and he has received prestigious national and international awards.

Frederik Pind is heading Njord, a green tech solution founded by Maersk Tankers, which aims to accelerate cost-effective and industry-wide greenhouse gas reductions through green technology. Before taking up this role, Frederik held different leadership positions in Maersk Tankers, including Chief Procurement Officer and most recently, he held the position as Head of Decarbonisation.

Brent Perry defined an industry when he oversaw development of the world’s first battery for marine propulsion. Energy storage systems are now a major – and increasingly important – player on the global marine energy scene.
In the years since that first battery, he has become a world expert on lithium energy storage in marine applications and recently launched PwrSwäp, a pay-as-you go clean energy subscription service that can electrify marine vessels, terminals, ports and even industrial sites and small communities.
His 30-year history in commercial shipbuilding and deep knowledge of energy systems gives him a unique perspective on the hybrid and electric marine industry. Brent has personally been involved int he great majority of all large hybrid and electric ferry projects on the water today. From Ampere in Norway to Scandlines Benedikte and the For Seaferries Aurora and Tycho Brahe, he has unsurpassed experience in the sector.
Brent is an experienced, engaging and impassioned speaker. Major presentations include speeches at the UN Conference on Climate Change, COP21 in Paris and COP23 in Bonn.

Gireesh M Menon is the Managing Director of Aries Group of companies. Headquartered in Sharjah, the company established in 1998, now operates in 17 countries around the world. He is presently pursuing his doctorate in Naval Architecture and heads the design and Engineering division in Aries Group. He has been at the forefront of many innovative designs, consultancy works and organizing events undertaken throughout his 21-year tenure with Aries Group. Leading a team of over 400 engineering personnel, he has been instrumental in establishing Aries marine as one of the leading Engineering and design consultancy firm in the world, with expertise in a wide range of activities including Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, Surveys, Auditing, 3D scanning, Drone inspections, Subsea Engineering and much more. Under his leadership, the company has been involved in new build designs, retrofits and conversions of a wide variety of ship types including tankers, Cable ships, LNG ships, Rigs, offshore platforms and many more.

Jagmeet is the Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Hong Kong Branch , Chairman of the Institute of Marine as well Chairman of the maritime and logistics arbitration committee of the Hong Kong Centre of International Commercial Arbitration.
He is an independent and active maritime arbitrator and an expert witness with focus on dry shipping. His area of expertise includes charterparties, ship sale & purchase, shipbuilding contracts and ship finance in commercial shipping as well as the ship management, ship repair contract disputes.
Jagmeet is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators; a member of the Hong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group; supporting member of London Maritime Arbitrators Association; on the panels of Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration, China Maritime Arbitration Commission and eBRAM as an arbitrator. He is on the list of arbitrators of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

Mr. Chrysostomou commenced his shipping career in 1995 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing Management and graduating from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1990. Additionally Mr Chrysostomou holds a professional qualification of Chartered Shipbroker having completed his shipping studies through the London Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and accepted as a Fellow to the Institute in 1998.
Mr. Chrysostomou, has been with Columbia Shipmanagement for the past 24 years during which time he has held numerous positions as Vessel Operator for cruise vessels, bulker carriers and tankers, Insurance and Claims Officer, Fleet Commercial Manager as well as Managing Director of Columbia's Singapore Office from 2007 to 2013. Subsequently, he had taken up the position as Group Director for Marketing and Business Development and currently as of October 2020 holds the position of Managing Director Asia Region responsible for all Columbia offices and activities in Asia in addition to his exiting role as Group Director Business Development.

Ralph Juhl is Executive Vice President, Technical. Mr Juhl has over 36 years of experience in shipping. He began his career in 1983 as an Ordinary Seaman, and came on shore in 1997 as a Master Mariner.
On shore, Mr Juhl held various technical positions in safety and quality, crewing, and technical organization strategy and development. From 2010, Mr Juhl was instrumental in establishing two shipping companies, Evergas and Hafnia Tankers, where he was responsible for fleet technical operations, newbuilding programs and technical projects.
Mr. Juhl is a Danish citizen and has resided in Singapore since 2019.

Capt. Vikas Pandey is a veteran of the Maritime sector and a successful entrepreneur.
